Evaluating the research results----According to the requirements of the third meeting of my project mentor, I have to learn evaluating the research results through comparing the early research goals and the result. Firstly, the external analysis should be including the scope of social fund-raising, more creditors, investors and capital markets. As a result, the paper studies clearly the profitability analysis, financing for structural analysis and the profit distribution analysis which can provide a more comprehensive analysis of the external system for SINA Corporation. Secondly, it develops the internal analysis for SINA Corporation. The internal analysis can provide the detailed advantages analysis and disadvantages analysis of operational and management for SINA Corporation. Meanwhile, the Z model can provide clear understanding of the investment appraisal, business accounts receivable management, internal procedures and investment strategies. Moreover, it also can evaluate the customer credit and forecast a strong function of bankruptcy.
 
Through the use of the different approaches, the paper provides the different research results based on the different research methods. Therefore, this paper analyzes comprehensively the business and financial performance of SINA Corporation.
 
About research questions for the research
I think I have completed the research and answer well the research questions too. Part one, the paper proposes that the research aims are study the business and financial performance of organization from 2006 to 2008. The objective of the research is SINA Corporation and the financial ratios including the external analysis and internal analysis. The overall research approaches are the ratios analysis and model analysis including solvency ratios, asset management ratios, profitability ratios and Z model. Moreover, the paper introduces the reasons for choosing my project topic for being an accounting student. It also explains the background of SINA Corporation as an informational technology and network company.
 
Part 2, it explains the origin and approaches of the information gathering and accounting/business techniques. This paper firstly proposes the sources of gathering information and financial data. It collects the theories, literature review and model from the books, electronic journals and some websites through the library database. Moreover, the paper changes the primary data into the secondary data for complete the financial ratios analysis. The paper also introduces the limitations for the resources of information and financial analysis.
 
Part 3, the paper analyze the ratios and model through the secondary data, concludes the results of data analysis, proposes the recommendations for the future operation and management based on the data analysis and model analysis. Most important, through the financial analysis and model analysis, the paper can evaluate the operational and management situations.
