摘要:本报告的目的是对企业国际化的理论,并对其国际化进程提出一些建议。分别介绍了运用邓宁的折衷范式,学习国际化理论、波特的钻石模型。然后,它结束了公司的国际化进程的一些建议。

nternalization advantages refer to a firm’s ability to leverage its domestic advantages in foreign countries by internalization of markets (Erdener & Shapiro, 2005). Asiacom has applied much effort to internalize its intangible assets. Considering the importance of patents and technologies in maintaining competitive advantage in the market, the firm does not sell or lease its technologies to other firms. It applies for patents for its new technologies, designs and innovations in a timely manner and utilizes them to the production. This will reduce its transaction costs and coordination costs during process of internationalization (Dunning, 2001).

2.4 Entry mode

Furthermore, the OLI framework plays a determinant role in making decision on mode of entry into foreign countries. The three variables affect decision on entry mode through influencing firms’ perception of asset power, market attractiveness and costs of integration (Agarwal and Ramaswami, 1992). It must be pointed out that the three can not be evaluated separately. Among the three, location advantages play the key role in determining whether and where to undertaken international production. Dunning advises that foreign direct investment (FDI) should be undertaken to use foreign resources if the three factors are present and satisfied at the same time. Asiacom needs to identify and evaluate whether its three advantages are present when deciding its entry mode to India. If the three variables are satisfied at the same time, the firm may choose mode of FDI in the country. If it simply has ownership advantages, it may adopt mode of contracting or licensing. In other words, the firm has not internalized its ownership advantages in the market and it is not adequate for it to directly invest in India. As a result, it may license its technologies or patents to some India-based companies to carry out its internationalization. Finally, if the firm finds that it has only ownership and internalization advantages, it may be suitable to engage in export activities other than setting up affiliates or subsidiaries in India (Tsai, 1994).

3.0 Learning Theories of Internationalization国际化学习理论

Learning theories can be explained through Uppsala model which is also known as stages of internationalization. The model was proposed by Jan Johanson and Jan-Erik Vahlne at the Uppsala University, who looked at internationalisation as a learning-oriented process (Blomstermo & Sharma, 2003). The process of internationalisation is featured with gradual and evolutionary manner. The model includes establishment chain, psychic distance pattern and product diversification pattern.

3.1 Establishment chain

The establishment chain has four stages. In the first stage, Asiacom does not have sufficient experience, so it may choose to export its products through independent representatives in India. Its export activities are also irregular. In the second stage, it will export its products through sales agent as it may have obtained regular but superficial information about India market. In the third and fourth stages, the firm having increasing amount of resources and information to the market may internationalize its products via sales subsidiaries and unit manufacturing. However, it may take severa论文英语论文网提供整理,提供论文代写英语论文代写代写论文代写英语论文代写留学生论文代写英文论文留学生论文代写相关核心关键词搜索。
