Please note that the lecture material only summarises the key points from the textbook chapter(s), therefore, these should not been regarded as substitutes for reading the relevant textbook chapters and utilising other relevant materials.

Recommended Reading:
There is no single recommended textbook for this course. General books in International Economics are to be found at E332 or E382 in the JBP Library and for most aspects of this course you can refer to virtually any standard International Economics textbook in this category. Moreover, if you took the International Trade (ID-4207M) with Dr. Karen Jackson in https://www.51lunwen.org/liuxuelunwendx/semester 1, then whatever International Economics textbook you used for that will probably be adequate. Additionally there are articles in the relevant lecture folder on Blackboard, which supplement the general textbooks and might help you develop your assignment.
The below recommended reading covers a wide variety of approaches to the subject that will be
generally sufficient:

Krugman, P.R. and Obstfeld, M. (2009) International Economics, London: Pearson Addison-
Wesley. E382 KRU

Williamson, J. and Milner, C. (1991) The World Economy, London: Harvester Wheatsheaf. E382
WIL & B11 WIL
