Why Leadership is necessary for the growth of the organization.

The word leadership has been used in at least three different ways. Occasionally it refers to a position within an organization, e.g., “We are inviting all of the leadership to attend the seminar. Leadership has also been used to describe a personality characteristic, e.g. Our new supervisor doesn’t have as much leadership as our previous one.”


Leadership qualities in an organization


My chosen organization is Griller which is engaging in fast food business. Griller is a famous name in fast food industry and one of the most growing fast food chains in all over the UK. They have a competitative edge over its competitors because of the unique style of cooking and providing healthier food. I have one year work experience in Griller as a sales and customer assistant. The director of the company Mr. Faheem Ghias is one of the directors of Griller. He has a good leadership skills and interpersonal skills. Griller is actually a multicultural organization but he is managing and leading all the staff very well. He has a good participative leadership style which is very much important for the success of the organization.


Why it is important for organizational success


A good leader is the key person for the success of the organization. Because he or she can push the team to do the work in the right way. He analyzes the correct way and then led the team to do the right. Another thing is that a good leader has a quality to choose the right person for right task. This thing increases the efficiency and the productivity of the organization and for the personal development.


Although leaders may use force or compulsion to manipulate the performance of followers, leaders by our definition use their ability to induce voluntary committee. According to this; anyone in the business can be a leader, whether or not that individual is formally recognized as such. Indeed, informal leaders are extremely important to the effectiveness of most organizations.


Effective leaders inspire others to pursue excellence, to motivate them and to go beyond their performance and give them feedback. It has been said that managers are people who do things right and leaders are people who do the right thing.
