2.4 The questionnaire
When the findings were collected (Appendix B. II), the results were very obvious. From question 7, we can see their attitude for the environment towards the room. 83 students are a high proportion among 150. They agreed to the statement that fluent shifts of light are bad for students’ eyesight. However, all subjects approved of taking classes in the multi-media room. In particular the freshman and sophomore seemed strongly eager in the multi-media room style of learning. Judging from their responses to the close question 9 and some answers of the open question 15, we can infer that the result validate in the students opinions there is lack of class preparation by the teachers and the teacher just read the materials from the screen. Question10 informs us that the majority of students take notes from the big screen. However, the screen shifts very fast and the students are not satisfied with this, as highlighted in answers question 15 A In taking notes from the screen the students feel they have very little interaction with the teacher. The students come across in the survey as being very dissatisfied with the lack of communication between the students and teachers, the results shown in Question 11, and answer D of Question 15, highlight this fact. Malamah-Thomas (1987) points out that classroom interaction is not a one –way action but a reciprocal process. Only when the participants constantly adjust their reactions to each other’s previous actions can communication go on. Malamah-Thomas (1987:39) illustrates the mutual reactions between the teacher and student(s) in the following figure:

D. Teachers could be more efficient by giving knowledge to the student in the limited time.
E. Good stimulation is achieved with the use of colors, sounds and lights.
F. Sources are drawn from the textbooks and outside sources, (e.g. Internet, newspapers, TV, movies, magazines)

From the point of view of cognition psychology, the explaining of stereotypes would emphasize topics and influence the mental categories we create and the social judgments we make (Wyer, 1998).
