Chapter VI Findings and Discussions


6.1 The advantages of English leveled teaching
English leveled teaching can arouse the students’ learning interests and learningenthusiasm and turn their passive learning into active learning, the English learningatmosphere in experimental class is becoming stronger and stronger, the phenomena that thestudents are afraid of English learning and have negative impression on English aredisappearing, the students in experimental class have a stronger self-confidence, it is nolonger a headache for the students to have English lesson and they are more active in learningEnglish. In experimental class, English teaching is more targeted with the teaching goaldeveloped accurately, English leveled teaching is in favor of improving the quality andefficiency of the classroom teaching; English leveled teaching constantly promotes theteachers to learn new education idea and improve their teaching methods, meantime, it canhelp the students with the same basic knowledge contact with each other closely. All thesecan make it easy for the students to form strong learning interests. Both the teachers and thestudents feel pleasant in teaching and learning. According with the principle “teaching inaccordance with the students’ aptitude”, each student can find a suitable learning method fortheir own English study, the teaching goal can be achieved effectively and both the teacherand the students can work efficiently.

Conclusion


The research has presented leveled teaching in secondary vocational school Englishclass and the result of it has given clear evidence that English leveled teaching has affectedthe students positively. After the study, the researcher collected the limitations to the researchand found out the following points need improving.Firstly, pay more attention to the students’ psychological tutoring work. Englishleveled teaching plays an active role in stimulating most of the students’ learning interests,but to a certain extent, it may affect some students’ confidence, some students, especially forthe students in level C, are more sensitive, they think they receive an unfair treatment andboth the school and the teacher don’t put value on them. Teachers should observe thosestudents more carefully, their little bit of progress and merit should be praised timely. Try tochannel their bad mood into good one.
