摘要:本文是英语教学法论文,本研究的主要目的是探讨在高职学校英语教师信息素养水平的现状,找出影响教师信息素养的一些关键因素如性别、年龄、教学经验、职称、学历、和计算机培训。

Over the years anumber of information literacy models have been developed and have been used as learning andteaching aids in schools, for example: Becta Star (undated), Big 6? (2001-5), Marland (1981),Moore (2002) models. The success of these models in developing students who leave school asinformation literate individuals has not been systematically evaluated and evidence from recentresearch would suggest that a number of other factors may be missing. As a consequence,information literacy is regarded as an vital element in education.Researches have indicated students’ information literacy level can make a difference instudents’ achievement in school. Lance’s (2001) studied on the impact of school library mediacenter programs on the academic achievement in schools in four states in the United States haveshown that that trained and credentialed school library media teachers did make a difference instudent performance on achievement tests. Todd, Kuhlthau and OELMA, (2004) in their StudentLearning Through Ohio School Libraries study showed that 99.44% of the students (13,050students in grade 3 to 12) indicated that the school library and its services, collectively with theroles of school librarians, had helped them with their learning. This showed that school libraryplayed a key role in students’ learning, as well as an important place for students to develop theirinformation competencies by providing them with multiple opportunities to learn withinformation.

Chapter Five Results and Discussions

This chapter presents the results of data analysis which intend to answer the research questionsmentioned in chapter four. Firstly, descriptive statistics concerning each questionnaire will bepresented.Then the relationship between EFL teachers’ self-efficacy on technology integration is discussedin great detail.

5.1 The Current Situation of EFL Teachers’ Information Literacy

Among the gathered data, there were 120 valid usable samples. The statistics in table 6 showed thatscores of the overall EFL Teachers’ Information Literacy varied from 2.47 to 4.53 points , with an averagescore across the sample of 3.48points.
