Introduction
Through the whole 20th century, quantitative research is always the mainstream of the research methods while the qualitative research is on the verge of the research methods. There are so many differences between quantitative research and qualitative research in terms of theoretical basis, research methodology and the relationship between researchers and correspondents. Following this, the essay will analyse and discuss on the application of the educational research theories and its planed achievements on the academic research from educational research perspective. After that, it will detect and discuss the importance of ethics in academic research from the educational perspective. At the end of the essay, it will give a brief conclusion to summarize the major findings of the essay.
