Problem Scenario
You are to implement a system of data capture, display and navigation for the small retail outlet described in Assignment 2.
Business Rules/Assumptions
You are required to implement a report program that can generate some of the key business reports required by management. You will continue to use the same database that you used in assignment 2.
You have also been requested to implement some data capture forms to help maintain the database tables and a simple switchboard to allow the user to navigate the capture forms and the report forms.
Navigation and search controls on the capture forms are also needed.
You will be working with the same case study and database as in assignment 2.
Requirements
Using VB.NET, you will implement a data capture form for each of the tables in the database. There are no marks for only implementing one form correctly; all four forms must be completed. All capture forms should have full CRUD capability (create, read, update and delete).
For the capture forms it is much better if there is a single key field for all four tables, including the Payment and Orders tables. You will need to add this field, using perhaps the following steps:
• Add the field, say PaymentID to the Payment table, in design,
• Put unique values in the field – say P0001, P0002, P0003 etc.,
• Set the PaymentID field to be the key for the table.
