摘要:本文是大学英语教学论文,在本文中,笔者试图结合GSP理论与大学英语写作教学理论。GSP理论着眼于文本情境和写作目的的语境,以帮助学生分析语义结构,从而找出这些文本属于哪种类型。通过系统功能语言学,它有助于学生理解语言特点。

ching experiment inEG for a semester, and under the support of Hasan’s Generic Structure Potential Theory and SystemicFunctional Linguistics, the researcher reaches the conclusions in the following.From the results of the experiment, it can be shown that English writing achievements in EG havebeen improved apparently after using genre analysis in College English writing teaching. Specifically, inthe chapter Five, the data of Independent Samples Test and Paired Samples T-test in EG indicates thatstudents’ scores are enhanced obviously. Through genre analysis approach, learners are able to masterdifferent genres’ different features, different discourse structures; distinguish elements of genres; andaccording to genres, choose appropriate contents, rhetoric as well as language expressions. Moreover, basedon these two theories, learners can not only analyze different genres’ elements, but grasp linguistic features.In addition, through the results and discussion of questionnaire and interview in EG, it can also beconcluded that students have already formed genre awareness after one-term teaching experiment. Thosestudents who have been built up genre awareness will apply genre analysis in English writing as soon aspossible, for instance English diaries. What’s more, before starting to writing, students tend to analyzegenres consciously. In the process of writing, they will be aware of analyzing genres’ generic structures,elements, and linguistic characters. By mastering three different genres that are found in CET 4, studentsbuild up their own genre awareness and make great difference in their English writing. Above all, withforming genre analysis, it enables students to write compositions having rules to follow and improve theirself-confidence.
