4.5.2 Levels of Logistics in China

While in China, the cost of enterprise after using the third party logistics can only reduce 28%. The comparative disadvantage of the third party logistics in China can be seen from the following aspects.
(1) A research in Tennessee University in America shows, the proportions of the third party logistics in the whole logistics market are 73% in America in 2001, and in Europe, the proportion had already reached to 76% in 1996. 6% European enterprises that have already accepted the third party logistics services are considering the possible increase of such service, and the same thought with 7% American enterprises.

Because of the influence of local protection, toll stations are set everywhere in various names. They divide the local small logistics cycle from the national big logistics cycle. All these lead to the low quality development, low scale of logistics.
