Assessment: Submission; Referencing; Extensions etc.
Submission All written assessments must be submitted electronically as attachments via email to hdixon@uow.edu.au . The work must be received by the due date and time. Students must keep a copy of the work they have submitted.
Referencing and Acknowledgement It is important to use a standard system of citation and referencing. Marks will be lost for failing to undertake this procedure.
The Faculty of Law’s official citation guide is the Australian Guide to Legal Citation (Melbourne University Law Review Association Inc., Melbourne, second edition 2002). The Guide may be borrowed from the University library, purchased from the UniCentre Bookstore or accessed online at http://mulr.law.unimelb.edu.au/aglcdl.asp
You must acknowledge all sources of information. You should ensure that you are familiar with the rules on referencing and acknowledgement. You should consult the University Policy on Acknowledgment Practice http://www.uow.edu.au/handbook/courserules/plagiarism.html and the Faculty of Law Policy on Plagiarism www.uow.edu.au/law or Studying Law 2007 handbook. Plagiarism will not be tolerated and you will be penalised if you commit plagiarism (see Academic Miscondu英语论文网 【http://www.51lunwen.org】ct below).

An assessment task submitted after 5pm will be deemed to have been submitted on the next day. For every 24-hour period, or part thereof, that an assessment submission is late, the submission is eligible to receive a penalty of 5% of the total available mark.

The University’s policy and this Faculty’s policy require that extensions of time for submission of assessable work be granted only in exceptional circumstances, such as serious illness or unforeseeable circumstances beyond your control.
University Policy: http://www.uow.edu.au/handbook/courserules/specialconsideration.html
To apply for Special Consideration, students must log onto SOLS and select the Special Consideration link. A personalised application form will be then appear for electronic completion and submission. Once you have completed and
