1.1.3 The disadvantages of importing the recyclable plastic materials
The importing of the waste plastic has caused a series of problems in the environmental pollution. We produced around 500 million tons of toxic waste every year worldwide; Clifford (2007) estimated that 70% of the world’s toxic plastic has been exported to China illegally, 90% of these waste goes to the small workshops which do not have the effective process technology and management systems.
