1.1 Introduction
Welcome to the Department of Educational Studies at the University of York. We very much hope that you will have a happy and fruitful time here. We will strive to do our best to support you with your academic work. This handbook provides you with some of the background information concerning the full-time MA programmes offered by our department. Full details of the modules that make up each programme are contained in a separate handbook.
