A Preliminary Anylasis on the Operating Model of Taobao
ABSTRACT
In recent years, with the rapid development of Internet in China, the number of Internet users is growing rapidly every year and has ranked first in the world. At the same time, online shopping is also rapidly developed to become the important content of Internet users. The enthusiasm of Internet users shopping online has also spawned a number of online shopping sites. Through innovative business models, bold, business development, online shopping sites access to a tremendous growth. As the leader of the online shopping site, Taobao is the famous.
    As we all know, Taobao is the largest network of retail and business district in the Asia-Pacific and is committed to creating the world's leading network of retail and business district. Taobao’s businesses include two parts and they are the https://www.51lunwen.org/englishpaperguide/2012/0518/1329485729.html C2C (individual-to-individual) and the B2C (business-to-individual). Members registered in Taobao cover the most of China's net purchase crowd. Currently, Taobao has accounted for about 70% of the domestic online retail market share.
    In 2003, Taobao was founded in Hangzhou by Alibaba Group. With the rapid expansion of free strategy, Taobao defeated eBay the leader in online shopping in one fell swoop. However, Taobao is also facing many problems, such as the more and more competitive. Based on the detailed analysis of Taobao existing operations management model, this paper analyses the opportunities and challenges faced by the Taobao , offering proposal for the development of Taobao.
