Abstract
Hans Christian Andersen is a world famous writer of fairy story.He contributed all his life to creating fairy story for children.From 1835to1873,168 fairy stories were published.There were few who wrote so many stories for children among the world fairy story writers.He was popular beyond compare in childer’s eyes.His compositions are a great contribution to the education of children.As the society becoming more and more cruel and his experence becoming more and more abundant,Andersen’s literary creation changed.In stories, more and more sympathy were showed us.He criticised the social system, at the same time he praised and encouraged people to do their best for dreams.His compositions gave civilians hope and strength.In addition, children were educated how to live a meaningful life and how to become a man with firm will.
