摘要:本文是高中英语教学论文,本研究借鉴国内外有关词块教学和写作教学的研究成果,以心理学、语料库语言学、语言习得理论为基础,旨在通过实验性研究,证明词块可以提高高中生的英语写作能力,改进高中生写作中词块运用的水平。通过词块提高他们的英语写作兴趣及英语自主学习能力。
Chapter 1 Introduction
1.1 Research background
In the process of English Teaching in senior high school, the teacher always emphasizes the importance of cultivating students’ listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. By training these four skills, we can improve students’ all-round English language skills for students to learn English. Among these four skills, “speaking” and “writing” are the important output content of the “listening” and “reading”. To some extent, it can be said that the difficulty of output skills are higher than that of input skills. Because if students want to express their thought in a right way, not only they need to have their own ideas, but also need the basis of good language, so that they can express their thoughts and expressions fluently. Speaking as an output skill can belong to verbal language category, its requirement is relatively broad. Therefore, one of the best ways for us to measure students’ English learning ability is to check the ability of students’ writing. If the student want to write a good article, they must have good language abilities, such as the logical thinking ability and the layout ability of the text. The requirements are also getting higher and higher. English writing is important on various occasions. However, in senior high school, the current situation is not optimistic at all. Teachers’ guide in English writing strategies is not enough. A great number of students do not have interest in English writing or some of them lack of the strategies in English writing. They can not write compositions in an authentic way and full of Chinese English in their thesis. They also lack of lexical chunks with poor logical and textual ability. Thus, it is vital to improve students’ attitude, writing ability and the use of writing strategies.
