摘要:本文是高中英语教学论文,笔者认为现在,少数民族的英语教育和专门研究越来越受到教育工作者的重视。此外,从社会语言学、教育学到心理语言学的研究也各不相同。
1. Introduction
1.1 Background of the Research
The language is widely used in international business, media and transportation. There is no doubt that enough attention should be paid to English learning and teaching not only in Han students but also in minority regions students. However, the situation of minority students learning English is difficult and complex. There is of great distinctive for the Uyghur learners to learn English relative to Han students. What’s worse, development speed of economic is slow; the English learning environment and English teachers are scarce; the culture background is complex, the teaching model is single and teaching concept is backward, which increase the difficulties of English learning invisibly. Generally speaking, English writing is regarded as one of the four basic skills of English acquisition. It plays a crucial role in demonstrating the learner’s performance in various tests. It can not only manifest the high school students’ basal English knowledge within a limited amount of time, the content and scope, but also reflect the extent of the flexible use of English learners. However, English writing, which seems to be simple, becomes the highest error rate part for the language learner. According to the research analysis, we can gain that it is too difficult for the students to get rid of the influence of Chinese negative transfer.

1.2 Purpose of the Research
Among the many different nationalities in Xinjiang, Uygur is the main ethic group and Uygur language is the main language among many different languages used by the minorities in Xinjiang, so Uyghur students’ language learning experiences can be representative of the basic situation language learning among the different ethnic groups in Xinjiang. Minority students in China are lower in English level compared with majority students (Han nationality). Including the English education research between Han nationality and minorities, the minority students is inferior. Especially, emotional factors are taken into account. Now the English education and specific research of minority have been increasingly attracting emphasis by educators. Moreover, the research varies from perspectives of sociolinguistics, pedagogy, to psycholinguistics. However, scarce experimental work has been done to take the Uyghur students who accept the Chinese language education as the subjects to study the negative transfer influence of the Chinese on English learning.
