摘要:北京师范大学出版社出版的“高中课程标准教科书”例如英语,通过问卷调查,课堂观察和分析,旨在在了解在河南省教师在使用教材中的意见,英语在整合的教学方法,教师整合教材中的困难,在这个过程使用的教科书中,为教师如何整合教材提出建议。

1.2 Research Motivation and Significance研究动机和意义
As the above-mentioned, after the English Curriculum Standard for Senior High School (draft) wasput forward, several sets of senior English textbooks have been compiled according to the Englishcurriculum, such as Senior English for China (SEFC), New Standard English, Senior High English (SHE),Oxford English textbook, etc. In the process of reading the literature relevant to textbook and textbookevaluation, it can be found that the researches have been focused on the analysis and evaluation on SEFCand New Standard English, or the comparison between SEFC and Oxford English, while the research on theanalysis of SHE mainly lies in summary of its characteristics. Therefore, the present study intends to makean investigation of SHE and mainly survey the current situation of teachers’ use of SHE. To be morespecific, the present study aims to find out the attitudes teachers have on SHE and the methods teachersemploy to adapt the contents of SHE.The results of the present study are of value for teachers’ better implementation of SHE. They canpropose feasible suggestions for teachers to use the textbook in their real teaching and help teachers carryout their teaching smoothly on the light of the new curriculum. In addition, these results can also providecertain reference for teachers when they design teaching activities to effectively cultivate students’ abilityof comprehensive utilization of language.

 

1.3 Overall Structure of the Thesis论文总体结构
According to the need of the present study, the thesis consists of five chapters in the following.Chapter One provides the background, the purpose and significance and the organization of thepresent study.Chapter Two is devoted to literature review relevant to textbook and textbook adaptation andtheoretical base for the present study.Chapter Three depicts the research design, including the research questions and objectives, researchmethods, research subjects and research procedures involved in the present study.Chapter Four mainly focuses on results and discussion of the research methods, includingquestionnaires and classroom observation.Chapter Five summarizes the findings of investigation, proposes some feasible pedagogicalsuggestions and gives limitations and prospects of the present study.
