he research background, the research motivation and theresearch objectives as well. The research tries to explore the main problems as well as causes and tosuggest implications for the teaching and learning of pronunciation in senior high schools.The second chapter presents the literature review of this paper, which includes the theory ofpronunciation, the negative transfer of native language and the theory of Contrastive Analysis.In chapter three, the author focuses on the research questions, research participants, researchmethods and research procedures. And then, the author describes the data collection by using tables briefly.Chapter four is the main body of this paper, which based on questionnaire, interview andclassroom observation, the main data thus obtained is analyzed and discussed. The author mainly describesthe main problems associated with pronunciation learning and teaching in No.2 senior high school inXinxiang.In chapter five, the major findings of this research are discussed in accordance with the tworesearch questions which have been shown in Chapter One. Meanwhile the pedagogical implications andlimitations and prospects of this research are put forward in this part.Samples of questionnaire, interviews and test involved in the research are included in theAppendixes.
