Chapter 4 Results & Discussion  

In general, this part is of great value to the whole research. There are two main parts here where detailed discussion about the results of the data as well as the reason behind them were stretched in a full picture.  

4.1 Impact on Learners’ Attitude, Interest and Confidence to Oral English Learning 

To answer the first research question, a Questionnaire was conducted about  students’  attitude,  Interest  and  confidence  towards  oral  English learning.  The  questionnaire  was  conducted  before  the  test  and  after  the test  to  find  out  whether  there  exist  differences  between  the  pre-test  data and the post-test data. The detailed results were reported below. Before the teaching experiment, both of the experimental group and the control group participated the Questionnaire. To ensure the reliability of the questionnaire, the reliability test was adopted and the results were presented below. From  Table4-1,  we  can  see  that  the  value  of  Cronbach’s  Alpha  is 0.843, which is above 0.8. It means that the questionnaire was reliable. To ensure  that  the  questionnaire  is  valid  in  its  inner  structure,  the  Factor Analysis was used here. And the results were reported below. From  Table4-2,  we  can  see  that  the  value  of  Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin Measure of Sampling Adequacy is 0.744, which is above 0.7. Based on the result,  we  can  infer  that  the  adequacy  of  sampling  was  enough.  What’s more, the result of Bartlett’s Test is far below 0.05 (Sig. = 0.000). It means that there exist relations between those variables. That is to say, the data is qualified to be conducted the Factor Analysis.

Conclusion
