摘要:本文是高中英语论文,根据本论文调查分析的结果对高中英语教学提出如下启示:在高中英语听力教学中应针对一些重要的听力策略进行训练,即要按照恰当的顺序安排策略培训;为学生创设足够的机会练习关键策略;在听力练习中培养学生的自信心。
Chapter One Introduction
Listening is one of the main ways of language input and also an important way forstudents to learn English. It is not only a method for language learning, but also thepurpose of language learning. However, English learners are not good at using listeningstrategies to hinder listening comprehension. Based on the theoretical framework oflistening strategies and inspired by the existing research, this paper mainly discusses theeffect of listening
strategy training on senior high school students’ awareness of usinglistening strategy and the effect of listening strategy training on senior high school studentslistening score.
1.1 Research background
Listening comprehension plays an important role in foreign language learning,because learners spend more time on listening than other skills. Listening is put in the firstplace in the four basic skills of language, listening, speaking, reading and writing. Peoplelisten twice as long as they say, and listen for four to five times longer than reading andwriting. Since 2003 the proportion of the listening comprehension section of the NationalEnglish Entrance Examination was twenty percent, and the score was thirty. Teachers andstudents begin to pay more attention to listening comprehension and add more listeningcourses in daily English teaching. But the improvement of students’ listening ability is notsatisfactory.Listening teaching present situation is not optimistic and manifested in many aspects.There is not enough attention on prominent aspect of listening strategies. Many teachersbelieve that most of the listening exercises do not meet the college entrance examinationquestions; some teachers believe that these listening materials speak too fast, difficultly,and time-consuming and are not suitable for students to use. In the past listening teaching,teachers only check the answer after listening for the new words and difficult words whileignoring the listening skills, strategies and emotional attitude training. English teachingexperts have pointed out that the current teaching methods of English listening teaching inthe middle school is not scientific, and the process is simplified.

1.2 Research significance and purpose
Listening strategy is a necessary medium to develop students’ listening ability. It ishoped that through a series of English listening strategies training to improve theirawareness of listening strategies, make them know how to use listening strategies inlistening learning and improve their listening comprehension ability. At the same time,their ability to apply English knowledge and English comprehensive ability will beincreased. What’s more, teachers find a new teaching method by using listening strategy toenrich their teaching concept--listening strategy training is useful and necessary to helpimprove students’ listening ability.The purpose of strategy training is to improve students’ awareness of using listeningstrategies in listening learning and improve students’ listening scores.
