Right person into the right position: How to recruit and select effectively in the SME in China
Abstract
Nowadays, more and more managers understand that people are the most valuable assert. A company may have the advantage plant and equipment, but the contribution of human is the most important. Hence, human resource management is paid more attention by organizations. Because the ‘right employees’ can keep the competition advantages, and enhance the profit for organization. In China, there are the most labours in the world, consequently, to find the ‘right employees’ already become a serious problem for managers. This problem also is the centre focus in this dissertation. As a result, the aim of this dissertation intends to explore that ‘right person into the right position: How to recruit and select effectively in the SME in China’. The research area concentrates on Shenzhen Fawei Certified Public Accountants.
All of the data in the finding chapter comes from this firm, mainly gather through interviews and questionnaires. The responses from employers and employees show that even there are different opinions within organization, but the current methods of recruitment and selection are still considered as a suitable way to find the right people.
