Competition is the survival and development power under the conditions of market economy, which is also the source of corporate vitality. Meanwhile, the competitive ability of an enterprise decides the enterprise’s competitive status. But the rise of the internet economy, knowledge economy, high technology, as a representative of the new economic movements in the 20th century, brings profound changes to the global https://www.51lunwen.org/humanresource/ economy and enterprise competition( C.K.Prahalad,1992). New economy makes competition fiercer due to a quantity of factors, including the formation of global market, the increasing number of firms, technological innovation, and the pressure of merging the securities market shareholders capital appreciation, etc. The new economy is also changing the market economic rules and its innovation speed has been higher than expected. With the intensity and frequency of innovation to a certain extent, the traditional survival strategies of enterprises will not be able to adapt to complex innovation practice. Therefore, firms must utilise and manage innovation and break through original survival strategies, replacing with new competition strategies. Meanwhile, economic globalisation has led to important changes in competitive pattern. The globalisation of economic operation rules has improved market standardisation degree, and weakened barriers have increased severe competition situation. With the deepening of the globalization, for the enterprise dominance in specific industries, it can further absorb market share by utilising the expansion of the market. For an enterprise at a disadvantage, it can analyse the root of the gap, seeking unique space of market by setting new goals. Innovation has become the important strut strength of enterprises’ survival and development. Traditional strategic mode often imminently collapses and the traditional operation mode cannot meet the need. Therefore, managers have to operate companies with brand-new thinking, eliminate old rules, and establish new competition rules of the game. Almost only in this way, can a firm push itself into an impregnable position(Gary Hamel,1994).
