Title: Relationship between loyalty card and customer loyalty

A brief explanation of the topic

The study of customer loyalty, particularly customer loyalty research on English retail supermarkets has unusual significance. Customer loyalty resources mastered by retail enterprises at the same time are also one of the poises to strengthen retail enterprises’ bargaining power to upstream manufacturers. Major retail enterprises to avoid brutal price wars have taken different management strategies, and customer loyalty provides support for differentiated strategies, such support is not only reflected in materials of the purchase information provided by the customer information, but also reflected in the learn-type relationship between the retail business and customer loyalty. Therefore, the research on customer loyalty is a required course for modern retail enterprises. As long as improving their customer loyalty, retail enterprises can satisfy customers’ growing personalized demand, adapt to the rhythm of contemporary retail development, and thus improve the comprehensive competitiveness of enterprises to enhance their core competitiveness capacity.

The main purpose of this dissertation is to research on loyalty cards comprehensively and systematically, analyze the key elements of Loyalty card and use it as the basis for the retail enterprises to cultivate customer loyalty and sum up a set of effective methods to guide retail enterprises’ marketing services practice, so that enterprises can fully integrate the resources and effectively invest resources to produce a lasting competitive advantage.

The main purpose of the research is to identify the determinants of service loyalty in English supermarket. Apart from assessing the extent of customer churn in the supermarket, primary research is carried out to test the proposed model of customer loyalty. This study seeks to study:
(1). the relationship between loyalty cards and customer loyalty for English supermarkets.
(2). the relationship between customer satisfaction on customer loyalty for English supermarket.
