摘要:Definitions for translationese are given by a lot of other writers and linguists. Butif you read through their definitions, you can come to a conclusion that all of themregard translationese as an informal translation which may be felt a little bit awkward.
Chapter I An Introduction of Translationese and Chinglish
1. Definition of Translationese
Considering the definition of translation, Yu Guangzhong, a famous Chinesewriter once made a metaphor of translation. He said, “The translation for English andChinese is like a marriage. In a marriage, both two sides have to cooperate with eachother to support this marriage. The marriage would come to the end if either side ismuch stronger or weaker. So that means no matter Chinese nor English, they shouldmatch each other and accommodate with each other when they are being translated.”The difficulties of translation are easily to be seen, so what is translation on earth? Atthe moment, the substance of translation is considered to be a transformation betweentwo languages among translators. However, when we make transformations betweenthem, it includes the conceptive meaning, figurative meaning, contextual meaning, stylistic meaning, formal meaning and cultural meaning. Therefore, thetransformations between two languages are multilevel and flexible instead oftwo-dimensional and simple.Since the western culture came to China, more and more studiers have began toconcentrate at the European Chinese and Chinese English. So what is “translationese”?As the topic coming to “translationese”, we will think of the complicate andredundant sentences. These sentences are right and when you analyze from thegrammar and syntax structure aspect. While when you analyze them combined withnational thinking patterns and communicating cultures, you may find out that all ofthese sentences are not matched with your own language. A famous Americantranslation theorist Eugene Nida once said, “translationese” was loyal to its form insome aspects, while they were not loyal to the real information that the contexts wantto give us. As Fu Lei said, “translationese” is a kind of Chinese creation by thetranslators. Therefore, “translationese” always refer to those translations which can beunderstood by readers while not conform to daily presentations or standard language.

2. Definition of Chinglish
It includes Chinese words, Chinese grammars andChinese ways of saying which shows great characteristic features of Chinese language. Chinglish is made up of “Chinese” and “English”, it means the combination of thesetwo different languages. Because of the influence of Chinese thinking patterns andChinese cultures, Chinese people are not always intentionally of making up andproducing a different ways of saying when we are speaking English. This process oflearning English is an inevitable language phenomenon. Chinglish can be comparedwith other putative international hodgepodge varieties of English, such as Dunglish(from Dutch), Britalian (from Italian), Denglisch (from German), Franglais (fromFrench), Czenglish (from Czech), Spangliah (from Spanish), Konglish (from Korean),Singlish (in Singapore), Swenglish (from Swedish), Heblish (from Hebrew), Hinglish(from Hindi), Engrish (from Japanese), Orglish (from Ocrish) and Tinglish (fromThai).

Chapter II Influences of Interlanguage Theory inTranslation
1. Definition of Interlanguage
A lot of definitions of interlanguage are given by different people. Howeverr,“Interlanguage” was first proposed by Selinker (1972) which was developed on thebasis of “interlingual” which was proposed by Weinreich (1953). Sel本论文由英语论文网提供整理,提供论文代写,英语论文代写,代写论文,代写英语论文,代写留学生论文,代写英文论文,留学生论文代写相关核心关键词搜索。
