摘要:本文是英语语言学论文,本文在吉儿福特三维模型以及 Weigle 写作能力评估的基础上建立了思维流畅性对写作表达丰富度影响的过程图,采取定性和定量分析的方法(主要是问卷、访谈及作文)来调查英语专业大四学生思维流畅性对写作表达的关系以及学生写作文本丰富度的具体表现形式。
Chapter One Introduction
Through introducing the background of English writing and creative thinkingand the fluency of thinking, this chapter mainly illustrates the significance andpurpose of the study, terminology, and the whole structure of the
thesis.
1.1 Research background
Language expression is one of the most basic, difficult, and challenging ability insecond language application. It’s the core contents of language education. Thus, howto enrich students’ language expression and enhance students’ language expressioncompetence becomes a hot topic for researches. Many researches focus on thelanguage competence or proficiency. There are different kinds of way to presentstudents’ language expression, such as listening, reading, speaking and writing. Manyresearches conduct some experiments to explore students’ oral expression ability, suchas exploring the way of developing students’ language expression ability from theclass teaching of Chinese teaching, ideology and politics, reading and art (Yu Ming,2004; Zhan Lan, 2008; Su Zheng, 2013; Wang Ailian, 2013; Li Jingqi, 2014). In termsof writing, writing has been considered as one of the core contents of teaching forsecond language (L2). As a part of linguistic competence, writing directly reflects aperson's language learning competence. However, researches show that Languageexpression is still a big obstacle for Chinese students. In order to solve this problem,many researches have been conducted to investigate the factors which may affectstudents’ writing ability from the perspective of thinking pattern’s view, writingbehavior, strategies, as well as the mother tongue in the writing process of ChineseEFL learner (Wang Junju, 2005). Since1990s, the attention of researchers' has beenshifted from teaching method to language learning process and characteristics;researchers had done a lot of researches to learn what would affect students' writingprocess, what elements would benefit to students while they are writing, or in acertain kind of environment, how students will behave in their compositions,etc.Among all of these researches, cognitive psychology has exerted profound influenceon the writing research (Hayes 1989; Wang 2005; Dai 2003; etc.). However, fewstudies pay attention to the language expression richness.

1. 2 Research objectives
Related researches have been done in many areas, such as how to improvestudents’ writing expression ability by enriching students’ vocabulary, how to improvestudents’ writing skills and abilities, and so on. There are also some studies onanalyses of language expression in specific fields from the study of Chinese learners,but they are very limited and most of them belong to the descriptive study of teachingexperience.Few studies focus on students’ writing richness of second language acquisition,especially its mixture study with creative thinking. Based on these shortages of recentstudies in this area, combining the fluency of thinking with writing context richness,this research aims at analyzing the influence aspects that the fluency of thinking hason students’ writing richness as well as the aspects that senior English majors’ writingcontext richness is reflected.This research mainly discusses two important research questions.(1) Does the fluency of thinking have any influence on students’ writing? If yes,in what aspects?(2) In what aspects, can the richness in senior English major
