摘要:本文是英语语言学论文,本文主要研究在企业领域工作的毕业生到高校教师如何改变授课以满足特定的工作场所和技能型英语语言需求。然而,研究工作已在国内完成语言在语境中的外国企业工作场所的需求。

sh.As shown in table 6.1, the figure reveals that major in foreign language has the largest number,taking up 31.10%. Because most of subjects are from cars marketing, the major of machine designtakes up 23.3%, ranking the second. English plays an important role in foreign enterprises. It is veryhelpful for communication and development of companies.

Conclusion

In this study, we use the basic guidelines of NA for the purpose of identifying English languageneeds of the employees working in the foreign enterprises so as to get a better understanding of theworkplace language needs. Specifically, it also investigated the workplace language needs perceivedby employees working in the foreign enterprises; the perceptions of graduates’ workplace languageneeds of employers; the extent of the English language needs perceived by employees and employersmatched; the composition of English competence in Foreign Enterprise. In this chapter, three partswill be divided, including the first part will summarizes the results and draws conclusions of thestudy; the second part discusses the implications for the thesis( including the implications for collegeEnglish teaching); the third part will state the limitations and future study direction.In order to achieve a better understanding of workplace language needs for employees workingin the foreign enterprises field, the multi-faceted study is conducted. According to the analysis of thequestionnaire from the perspective of employees and employers, the author has got a clearunderstanding of graduates workplace language needs and some main conclusions can be obtainedfrom the study.The study shows that English is widely used in the foreign enterprises. Most of subjects useEnglish for work frequently and very frequently. Workplace English plays an important and essentialpart in the professional competence of the target group.Among four basic English skills, reading andwriting are used most often at the work, following by listening and speaking.The higher frequency tasks for employees are: reading business letters, reading fax, scanningthe web page of companies, reading the introduction of products, reading work report and writingwork summary. The tasks like signing a contract and going abroad on business are seldom used atthe workplace compared with other tasks. Some tasks are frequently be completed at the workplace,but employees do not think they are very important. The tasks that have higher importance are listedas follows: listening meeting report, listening English training and reading e-mail. According to theanalysis of frequency of tasks, most employees finish tasks related to the reading and writing field,but for the analysis of importance of tasks, almost all of the employees think that listening, speaking,reading and writing are equally important. Although some tasks are seldom completed in daily work,they are also very important, such as listening meeting report, watching video of product and goingabroad on business and so on.
