Ernest Miller Hemingway (1899-1961) is one of the most famous novelists in the history of western literature. He had received a high reputation in the literature career. He is also the winner of the Noble Prize for Literature in 1954.This thesis focus on Hemingway's famous novel - A Farewell to Arms, mainly analysis the character of Frederic Henry - the protagonist of this novel, and getting to know his journey of growing up.
