Nanjing Mingfa Bingjiang New Town Project
Nanjing is known as the regional central city of China, and the capital of Jiangsu province. Nanjing is located in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River; it's also an important gateway city of China. Nanjing is divided into two parts by the Yangtze River. The Pukou District, which is the suburban district of Nanjing, is located in the north of the Yangtze River (fig.4.1). In recent decades, with the development of informationalization, suburbanization and the increasing number of private cars, the city of Nanjing is faced with re-construction. In addition, the youth Olympic Games were held in Nanjing in 2014.Therefore, according to the development conditions of urban space, Nanjing government proposes that they will take the main urban zone as the core to form the multi-center and opened urban space which consists of two parts (South and North of the Yangtze River)( Nanjing Planning Bureau, 2011).
In the context of the urban development, the Mingfa Binjiang new town project (BJ project) was planed as a new residential area and it was a part of the construction of the Pukou District. The Binjiang new town was located in the Pukou District of Nanjing, which was separated from Nanjing centre by the Yangtze River. BJ project was covered with an area of 1600 acre, the building area was about 1.8 million square meters, the green coverage rate was 40%. The total investment of the project was ten billion yuan or so. The project was divided into three periods, and the first period has already completed. The residential area of the BJ project was about 1,600,000 m2, the residential area with high-rise and mega-high-rise buildings, including 13, 239 apartments and the commercial area was about 200,000 m2( Baike, 2011.)

In order to facilitate the lives of the residents, the Community outfits prolific supporting facilities (include hotel, clubs, commercial, leisure facilities), which would direct promote urban development and construction of Nanjing actively from an economy perspective. The planned sub-projects of the commercial facilities include supermarket, financial centre, pedestrian street, food street, leisure square, kindergartens, primary and secondary schools and so on. If all the projects of BJ project are completed, it will become the iconic buildings of Yangtze River coastal area in Nanjing (Nanjing Planning Bureau, 2011).

4.2 Project Features
-The construction field covers a large area, the construction period is short, the cross-operation management is difficult. Construction of the underground section will be completed in the winter in 2015 (Anhui Construction Engineering Group, 2013).
-The project quality is required to meet the 'Construction Quality Acceptance' standard.
-The whole project planning is more complex, which requires that the measure and the positioning of project should be very accurate.
