REFLECTIVE PRACTITIONER ASSESSMENT & MARKING SCHEME
The assessment on the postgraduate marketing programme will be one piece of individual coursework for the unit of approximate of 3500-4500 words length. It will aim at measuring the learning outcomes from the unit.
The reflective practioner
assignment requires students to;
carry out an investigation of a marketing topic of their choice set within a specific marketing context
develop a
research proposal fully recommending how the to results of the investigation could be taken further and possible be the basis of a
dissertation. The assessment criteria for the full range of marks are given in detail at the end of this module specification.
This proposal must:
(a) present a statement of the focus of the research;
(b) address the literature relevant to the issue or problem;
(c) summarise and justify the research questions,
(d) critically review the research methodologies available and justify an appropriate methodological approach;
(e) discuss how, and what, data will be collected, and give an explanation of how that data will be interpreted;
(f) summarise any potential difficulties anticipated within the research process. Students will be encouraged to discuss their proposals with supervisors before submission.

Literature: Demonstrates a critical knowledge & understanding of the literature relevant to the proposed research

Practical Outcomes/Research Plan: Demonstrates an appreciation of the potential problems, the theoretical & practical outcomes of the research, & presents a realistic and achievable research plan
