Executive Summary

Showing the current gap in knowledge on Internet security problems, the credit rate, the consultancy problem and logistics delivery part that existing in the C2C online shopping on Taobao.com

Research Problem

Taobao.com is a Chinese biggest domestic online shopping marketplace which beat Chinese EBay within 18 months from its creation on May 10, 2003. It was created by the world’s biggest B2B online trading market Alibaba.com. Now Taobao.com has over 80% market share with both C2C and B2C transactions. (www.TaobaoFocus.com 2009).

Timetable

End of May    Decide research methodology and finish finding the materials

Early June     thinking over the detailed outline of the dissertation and the content of each chapter

15th June      preparing for the interviews and questionnaire and start writing the draft of the literature review
