Abstract

The increase of crude oil prices and the intensive of the greenhouse effect forced international auto giants to target the new industry - electric cars and hybrid vehicles. Government’s 50 to 80 thousand yuan car subsidies[18] and the followed National Grid’s 20 billion yuan investment in building power facilities. Because of favorable taxes, subsidies, preferential policies, there is more and more the participants of the electric car industry. Also, China citizen have expressed their supports for the era of electric cars and hybrid vehicles, even a lot of them are started to buy or are ready to buy electric vehicles. The potential of this market is very large. In the upstream, National Grid will receive the profit of the investment; In the downstream, a range of charging facilities and electric vehicle maintenance services and spare parts production sector will be generated, which mean a whole new industry chain.
