In the system, it is possible that user may take error actions such as a letter is instead of a number to input. In this case, use of dialog is a good idea to reminder user to enter again in a right way. Besides, sometimes, users may want to know what happen inside the system. For example, when users register an account, they need to know if the registration is successful. Therefore, it is very necessary to pop up a dialog to tell users the actual result.

       JComboBox
       Combo box is very useful when there are just a few of correct inputs for users. For example, when a timetabler schedules classes, he/she has to input a faculty name. In fact, there are five faculties only in the University of Portsmouth. If a combo box is used, users just need to select one from all choices rather thttps://www.51lunwen.org/mgzuoye/ han enter anything. In contrast, the use of text field may lead to some unnecessary error inputs. For example, the input may be not a faculty name. This must lead more logical errors. Therefore, combo box is obviously a better component than text field for user input.
