The aim is to provide sufficient information to enable you to study effectively, including planning the work involved in assessment in good time so that you have adequate time for completing the work. Given the nature of the study provision in the Business School, you may find that assessment hand-in dates can fall within a few days of each other, or even on the same days, and hence forward planning is all-important. One of the functions of this module handbook is to help you plan your workload, by giving you sufficient information at the start of your studies.
It is important to realise that the module handbook is just one mechanism to help you with your studies and that you need to utilise the full range of support that is available in the School. You need to have read either the Undergraduate or Postgraduate Student Handbooks and the University Student Charter.
