摘要:本文是英语阅读论文,The study of reading strategies in second language started in the 1970s. Phillips (1975) forEnglish as a Second Language Learners to study, how to perform reading tasks, the use of“sound-mind” to those who deal with words when reading strategies used were investigatedreading strategies to distinguish skilled and unskilled reader used.

d; Liu Yichun (2002), Fudan University, 193 first-yearnon-English major students' English reading strategies using case studies conducted surveys andfound that reading success read more successful than those without use of metacognitive strategiesand functional practice strategies.

Chapter 2. Theoretical Framework


2.1 Learning Strategies
People started research into language learning strategies has been increased significantlysince the 1970s, because such categories play a various important roles in language learning.Although many researchers focus on how learners processes for a piece of new information andwhat kinds of strategies that they used to understanding, learning or remembering the informationin the areaes of second or foreign language learning. For example, Naiman (1978), Rubin (1975),and Stern (1975), the three people pointed out that the certain learners are more successful thanothers at Learning a second or foreign language despite from the exposure to other same teachingmethods without learning surrendings. As we have already thought that if you have consideredsuch as the concepts of reading strategy, for all of them, you must find that the most importancepart of understanding some definitions of language reading strategy must be addressed.

2.2 Reading Strategies


2.2.1 The Definitions of Reading Strategies
Learn from cognitive psychology books, policy is defined as learning techniques,behavioral, or learning problem-solving skills to make learning more effective and efficient(Oxford & Crookall, 1989). In reading, reading strategies indicate how readers an idea of the task,they participate in any text clues as to how they are doing what they feel is read, what they dowhen they do not understand (Block, 1986). Read the policy refers to 'involve intentional contactwith text readers psychological operations, and to make sense of what they read' (Barnett, 1988)In short, readers use reading strategies to enhance their understanding of the text or keepdeliberate, conscious skills information. Specifically, they have the following characteristics: (1) adeliberate, planned, technology and skills awareness; (2) to improve reading comprehension forunderstanding and overcoming failure, and (3) behavior and psychology. What their interests are,they reveal the reader management and the written word and how these strategies are related to theunderstanding of the text and the way of interaction.
