In today’sworld, with the development of economy and science, English as one of the most influential global languagesis widely applied in all fields of life.Therefore, many countries serve English education as a significant part of citizen’s quality education when they make the programming of development strategies of education. China also set the English education as one of the major courses of fundamental education, as well as in higher education.Learners in China differ from that of second language learners, however, they are not able to have more real and convenient language environment, therefore, reading became the main method toaccumulated English language knowledge and the main wayto develop language skills and language input approach for students. If there is no language input, there is no ability growth. Lack of a correct concepts of reading and good reading habits,many studentsmistakenlythink that without vocabulary and grammar obstacles in English reading. canunderstandthe article well. So students ignore the reading speed, comprehension ability, all kinds of reading skills, culturalbackground knowledge and lack of independent reading training.At present, a lot of teachersstill using 'the teacher as the main body, the students auxiliary'as traditional mode to teach reading in class. Reading teaching often guided by teachers and ignored the cultivation of students' independent reading abilities, whichlead tostudents' reading ability is not strong and lack of interests in extracurricular reading. At the same time, students attach importance to in-class reading, ignore the extracurricular reading, short of extensive reading training make students’ reading quantity is not enough. Students can not read actively in positive thinking, dare not to guess the meaning of unfamiliar words. Some students still don’t know to find key words, topic sentences and conclude main idea. This will have influence on reading speed and comprehension competence. Students do not use multiple logic ability in reading, do not think positively, do not analyze the text from the overall structure, so it is hard to comprehend texts in integral and deeply.
