摘要:本文是英语阅读论文,本研究以建构主义理论、图式理论为基础,采用文献分析法、定量研究和定性研究相结合的方法,旨在研究批判性阅读教学能否提高当前英语阅读的现状。
A pre-test and post-test have been employed to prove whether critical reading can improve the students’ reading scores. The purpose of pre-test in both EC and CC is to be sure whether the students’ English reading level in both EC and CC is the same or not. The post-test is to investigate the changes of students’ reading scores. The test papers are identical for the experimental class and the control class. The scores in the two classes are both analyzed with SPSS 17.0.Table 4.1 shows the mean score in EC is 19.190 while the mean score in CC is 19.040. Then after comparing the mean scores of the two classes, it is clear that there is no obvious difference between EC and CC and their English reading level is nearly at the same level. Then in order to verify and test the conclusion further, SPSS is used to have Independent Sample T test. Table 4.2 shows that students in EC were significantly different from those in CC on reading score (t (78) = -0.123, p<0.05).
