Study on Traffic Safety Management System Based on Multigen Creator & Vega
Abstract: 2D GIS technology is mainly used in traffic management system, 英语论文范文especially in the field of traffic safety management. Based on the analysis of D GIS and the shortcomings of the usage of D e-map in the traffic safety management system, this paper discussed the benefit of 3D e-map and the possibility of usage it in the traffic safety management system. Some key technologies of D traffic safety system were discussed and the methods of D modeling were presented by the use of Multigen Creator and Vega.

1 Introduction
As we all know, traffic is a very complex system that is influenced by man, vehicle, road and environment. The traffic safety management system is used to improve the traffic condition and safety. In order to fulfill this aim, we should consider the relation among the four traffic factors in the designing and establishment of the traffic safety management system. There are many traffic safety management systems that design based on the D GIS, which use the D map as the information management and displaying platform. If fact, the four traffic factors areD spatial objects, theD map cannot indicate the real world condition, so the traffic safety management withD map cannot fully accomplish the mission of improving the traffic condition and safety. The 3D map is the key technology in 3D GIS, which is a hot study field all over the world. After accident, USA begins to study the real-time 3D GIS for quick emergence [1]. In China, 3D GIS was studied by some universities and institutes, but there was not actually usage in the traffic management system.
In this paper, a method with D map to design and establish the traffic safety management system was presented. With the D map data of the same city, the D map of Changchun city, Jilin Province, China was constructed and an experimental system was also built with the D map and traffic safety database.
