摘要:本文是英语论文范文,本文尝试从中国英语学习者语言输入与输出不足、母语负迁移以及语用石化等角度分析这些差异产生的原因。这一研究也对中国英语教学产生一定的启示意义,如何避免上述现象,从而在英语教学中指导学习者准确高效地习得并且在言语交际中恰当地使用话语标记语,也将成为未来英语教学中不容忽视的话题。
As illustrated in Chapter Two, DM well has the following pragmatic functions: (1)repair marker; (2) initiation marker; (3) frame marker; (4) delay marker; and (5)mitigation marker. Therefore, a specific classification of DM well used in two corporaneeds to be provided in order to give an insightful explanation of each pragmaticfunction of itFrom the above table, a clear overview of the distribution of pragmatic functionsof DM well in two corpora is presented. Since pragmatic functions may be overlapped,the general frequency shown in Table 5.1 is a little greater than that in Table 4.1.Detailed analysis of each specific pragmatic function will be illustrated in thefollowing part.In verbal communication, the hearer may often realize that the speaker makes theslip of the tongue or improper expressions and may cause misunderstanding of theutterance. Sometimes the information offered by the speaker may be incorrect, so thehearer needs to repair on line. The repair of utterance is considered as a conversationmanagement which presents the dynamic adaption of the interaction. Schiffrin (1987)once makes a summary of four types of utterance repair: (1) that is which representsReference editing; (2) rather which represents nuance editing; (3) I mean whichrepresents mistake editing; and (4) well which represents claiming editing. From theabove statement, DM well can serve as a repair marker in verbal communication.
