Chapter Five Patterns of Tacit Knowledge Transfer ofCorporate R&D Team Based on Knowledge Ecological Theory
The corporate R&D team is an organization in the research and developmentdepartment or the technical department of a corporation. With different knowledgestructures and knowledge backgrounds, members of a R&D team possess differenttacit knowledge. Under the supervision of R&D managers, team members share andexchange tacit knowledge through cooperation, and constantly accumulate and createnew tacit knowledge. As time passes by, the fixed tacit knowledge transfer pattern canbe formed within the team. In the previous chapter, the author analyzed the methodsof process and mechanism of tacit knowledge transfer within the corporate R&D team.However, there is no example to be followed concerning the tacit knowledge transferpattern of the corporate R&D team. This chapter discusses and summarizes the tacitknowledge transfer pattern of the corporate R&D team from the aspect of knowledgeecology, in order to provide theoretical basis and suggestions for tacit knowledgemanagement of corporate R&D team.
