•Find in the current news a Chemistry-related article, which you like. It has to be from a newspaper (ex. NYT, Globe, etc.) popular magazine (Times, Newsweek etc) or similar source
•Write a short paper, in which you discuss the original article. Use your newly acquired knowledge in Chemistry and provide a deeper and broader interpretation of aspects that relate to your favorite subject (Chemistry of course).
•Your paper is expected to be a 3 to 5 pages long (double-spaced and typed) and requires a minimum of 5 References.
•Submit your paper before the deadline. Original article should be attached. I will provide a link for submitting your paper.
You can start by finding an appropriate article. Again, this article has to be related to Chemistry ! I will be glad to look at the articles you chose and give you my opinion before you start writing your paper.

Abstract: This essay is mainly about new biochemistry information on Science Daily. It is a newly research result found by a University of Arkansas researcher and his colleagues. They had found a key component in an ancient anaerobic microorganism which may serve as a sensor to detect potentially fatal oxygen. What’s more, this will help researchers learn more about the function of these components, called iron-sulfur clusters, which occur in different parts of cells in all living creatures. Through this essay, we can learn something about methane gas, a very important chemical material in the field of chemistry, yet in our daily life and by knowing how the methanogens to produce methane, we would make greater progress in energy utilize and help us human beings to solve much problems.
