Abstract
Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was developed by Davis (1986) for more than 20 years and has become one of the most influential extensions of Ajzen and Fishbein’s (1975) theory of reasoned action (TRA),while it has been used to model how users come to accept and use a technology for years in several disciplines. . Now there are many theoretical and empirical studies onTAM. Following the suggestions of these studies, some revised models including
TAM2 are evolved. Although major studies share the same opinion with Davis (1989), there are some different or contradict result issued. In the last part of this paper, a discussion and critique of a couple of the research methodologies that have been applied by researchers who are examining TAM in their researches are been introduced.
