之间的思维方式对比
3.1 Spiral Thinking Mode vs. Linear Thinking Mode
Robert Kaplan once considered that cultural thought affected pattern of dialogues, and further presented that spiral thinking mode is preferred mostly by the oriental. In the lecture or other talking, the speakers tend to gather the thought that has been scattered before, in order to make it in the starting point. It is known that the idea of reincarnation advocated by Taoism, which emphasizes the integrated human life experiencing birth, dead and rebirth of his (her) soul. It is ordinary to see that the Chinese often express their ideas in an indirect way and are good at expressing the theme gradually. Frankly speaking, they merely make their own idea clearly at first, but choose some nebulous words to present themselves. The structure of eight-part essays: “起,承,转,合” is a typical example for the spiral thinking mode. On the contrary, English-Speaking people are adhered to linear thinking mode. On account of such thinking mode, it is naturally found that English-Speaking people tend to express their idea in a direct way instead of beating around the bush. That is to say, they usually make their own opinions and the theme at the beginning.
3.2 Synthetic Thinking Mode vs. Analytical Thinking Mode
We know that ancient Chinese believed in the unity of man and nature, and the belief has deeply influenced the Chinese thinking mode. Therefore, they emphasized the synthetic thinking mode, which is inclined to combine separate parts of an object or idea into a unity, and integrates its qualities, relations. From the Angle of system of traditional Chinese medicine, it regards the human system as an integrated whole and the medicine is not only prescribed for the recuperation of the ailing parts.
On the other hand, under the influence of some masters as Francis Bacon, the British have developed an analytical thinking mode. They are prone to take objects apart and consider them in terms of their componential parts. Analytical thinking mode emphasizes the individual part and their interrelation, clarifying the difference of subject and object, man and nature, spirit and material, and so on. Analytical thinking mode is also presented in western medicine, which treats the human system as an assembly of different organs that should be testified to the trait.

3.3 Concrete Thinking Mode vs. Abstract Thinking Mode
Due to the concrete thinking mode, the Chinese are prone to describe abstract notion with concrete images in order to make things simple and clear in understanding. Jiangli once described that: “concrete thinking mode is a special form, in other word, imagination. Presentation means that the image appears in human’s brain before a real object is seen.” (蒋莉, 2003: 16)Take Chinese hieroglyphic for example, it takes the advantage of the graph or figure to form word which is certainly similar with its representatives. Such as “月” in Chinese, its form is just likes a bending moon hanging on the sky. On the other hand, in the opinion of English-speaking people, the world is made up of abstract units, following certain rules. In other words, they tend to be abstract in thinking mode, which also called logical thinking mode. “It is to make judgment and make inferences by using concepts. It is required to conform to logical laws论文英语论文网提供整理,提供论文代写英语论文代写代写论文代写英语论文代写留学生论文代写英文论文留学生论文代写相关核心关键词搜索。
