assignment I accomplish five tasks as per the requirement of the question. In the task one, I have done some theoretical analysis about management and
Leadership, motivation, and leadership theories. Then in the second task, I made a
literature review about these theories and develop an analytical framework. In the task three, I evaluate leadership and organizational behavioral issues mentioned in the case. In task four, I evaluate the policies, procedures and plan activities used in the implementation of the strategic plan in this case. And in the last task, I made my conclusion and also give some recommendation as per my analysis.
Summary of the case 案例概要
This case is about introducing multiskilled, ward-based teams of support workers of Rossett NHS Trust hospital. The management of the hospital takes a new strategic plan that will change the work system of the porter and domestic employees. They will reallocate the work and reschedule it. This will bring many potential benefits from managerial perspective, will provide good value for money, minimize operating expenses, faster the services. But while implementing the plan on pilot basis the management of the hospital faces several problems with the workers. Because the workers are not satisfied with the new plan and as a result they of opposite of this plan.

Management and leadership 管理和领导
Leadership is an important part of management but it is not all about management. Generally leaders influence other people to do their work and help the management to accomplish their work more effectively and efficiently. On the other hand management is about planning, organizing, and control resources. A good leader can be a weak manager if there are lacking in plan and organize and for the ability of planning and organizing a weak leader can be a good manager. So it is very much important to have combination between management and leadership.
In this case of Rossett NHS Trust hospital the management wanted to introduce multiskilled, ward-based teams or support workers. They took various strategies to implement the plan but it become difficult for them to implement it because there is inefficiency in planning and organizing the
strategy. They did not consider the psychology of their workers while planning the strategy as well as there was lack of efficient leaders to implement the plan and motivate the employees.
Motivation
According to John W Newstrom, 'Work motivation is the set of internal and external forces that cause an employee to choose a course of action and engage in certain behaviors.' While implementing a new strategy specially related with human resources motivation is one the most essential things. The management needs to motivate its employees to help them in implementation activities. Motivation may be on the change the pay scales, rise in salaries, give additional facilities, implementing effective performance evaluation systems etc.
