The first article by Chang deals with the way in which informal labour has become dominant in Asia. During the last decades the mobility of capital and the opening of the national markets to trade and to foreign direct investment have tended to privilege capital that could move swiftly through various areas. On the other hand, labour could not move freely from one area to another. The subordination of the production for social needs to production for profit has lead to the reorganization of labour that became more flexible in order to satisfy the particular needs of mobile capital. In this way, capitalist labour became the common basis of living for people in Asia (Chang, 2009) and in this context workers were deprived of any kind of protection. While this paper produces no revolutionary insights, it puts under focus the struggle between the capitalist and the labour class as it is shaped in modern terms and this is relevant, and in my opinion a central point of my analysis. It also presents the process of transformation of capital and, consequently, of labour in Asia that very much reflects the kind of transformation that is happening all over the world. The paper analyzes the impact of the action of the transnationally co-ordinated capital that shapes labour markets leading to an increasing informalisation process in a broad geographic area. I think that this is a good starting point for my research since it is dealing with the transformation of capitalist labour exploring various forms of informal work outcomes.

The second article by Peterson treats informalization of labour as a systemic phenomenon of contemporary globalization and focuses on the links between economic processes, inequalities, governance gaps and global insecurities (Peterson, 2010). The author approaches informality from a variety of perspectives and proposes to integrate the insights of the various types of analysis (mainstream, structuralist, feminist) to better cope with the economic, analytical and political problems caused by informality. He also relates the processes of informalization to the phenomenon of international migration. Although this article doesna€™t provide an explicit definition of the informal sector, it understands formal and informal activities as interdependent, and overlapping along a continuum. Informalization is both a constant and a cyclical feature of capitalist relations. Those are key points of my own analysis and therefore I believe that using a more integrated framework of investigation, as the author proposes, I will be able to understand better and more comprehensively the links between globalization and the processes of informalization.

The third article by M. Chen describes the historical evolution of the concept a€œinformal labouraand gives different definitions with various characteristics for statistical use. It is very important that in the final definition prior±¾ÂÛÎÄÓÉÓ¢ÓïÂÛÎÄÍøÌṩÕûÀí£¬ÌṩÂÛÎÄ´úд£¬Ó¢ÓïÂÛÎÄ´úд£¬´úдÂÛÎÄ£¬´úдӢÓïÂÛÎÄ£¬´úдÁôѧÉúÂÛÎÄ£¬´úдӢÎÄÂÛÎÄ£¬ÁôѧÉúÂÛÎÄ´úдÏà¹ØºËÐĹؼü´ÊËÑË÷¡£
