Executive Summary
Editions of Mozart's Requiem were emerged in endlessly, regardless of ancient or contemporary, all the editions are accomplished. Just as the most famous people who are playing the violin, they recorded without accompaniment but with the law of averages. As an unfinished last work of Mozart, the music includes a large number of exquisite places. Almost anyone who has appreciated the music has the inherent special status of Requiem. There are many editions of Mozart's Requiem, all of which are quite common.
Introduction
The essay firstly introduces the Requiem and Mozart, including the background and creative process of Requiem. Then the author moves on the Sussmayr edition of the Requiem, introduces the background, appreciation and the style of Sussmayr edition. Following, the author shows non-Sussmayr editions of Mozart's Requiem, Beyer edition, Maunder edition and Robert D. Levin edition are included. Finally, the author summarizes.
