摘要:本文是小学英语教学论文,In spite of the rule of grammar has been debated in primary school for many years, it isstill necessary to teach in class. And the students have to take part in English exams in school.So the grammar teaching takes a lot of time in class.

wo’s SD is 9.94982. Table One also clearly shows that the mean score of the first classis 81.8000 and the second class is 80.3667. It is obvious that the means score of two classes isvery close. Also the Sig. = 0.559>0.05, which means that there is no great difference in thecompetence of grammar ability between two classes. From these data, we can know that the two classes have the similar academic ability. The similar mean scores and SD guarantee ofthe reliability and effectiveness of the experiment.

Conclusion


The findings of the research have been summarized for two points as follows. Firstly,grammar teaching plays an important role in primary English teaching. Through thequestionnaire, we can find that the Story-theme teaching is more effective in arousingstudents’ interests. In EC, eighty percent students think English learning is important andeighty three students are very interested in English. Through the observations, we can knowthat the students in EC are more active in taking part in the class activities. The classobservations show that the interactions in EC are far more varied than CC between the teacherand students. And the interactive activities among students in EC are much more than CC. Wecan reach such a conclusion that the students in EC are more active than CC. Secondly,through the experiment, the story-theme teaching method in grammar is more effective thantraditional teaching. The average score in EC is 85.8 while the CC is 80.6 in the post-test. Itproves that the students make much greater progress through the new method. The deviationin EC is 8.2 but the CC is 9.7, which means that the new method is more suitable for moststudents. The new method is more effective for grammar teaching in primary school. So thismethod should be practiced in order to improve the effectiveness of grammar teaching in thestage of primary English learning.
