affects China’s economic growth positively by studying in the data from 1981 to 2010. To examine the potential effects of foreign education in UK, a simple growth model is selected. It applies some other factors that might affect China’s GDP, which is a measurement of economic growth. The result of this dissertation is not consistent with expectation from previous researches. While the problems of this unexpected result is not investigated deeply, and some further question come out for thinking.

Chinese overseas students are spread over one hundred countries and regions in the world, while the phenomenon of outstanding increase of Chinese overseas students could be significant from 1978 when China implemented Reform and Opening-up Policy. Along with China’s economical development, some Chinese families can afford studying abroad. As a result, the new surge of studying abroad comes. A large number of Chinese people choose to study abroad. As a result, China is the largest source country of overseas students in the world now.
