2 Understanding cultural knowledge is the key to study knowledge of language.

the mode and criterion of culture. And it is impossible to teach language well without the knowledge of cultural background. The langue is the carrier of the culture, and important component of the culture. But the language receives the deep influence of culture, has reflected unique place of a certain culture again. If dose not understand the target culture, it is very difficult for us to understand the meaning of the project of some words. 3 The teaching of the cultural knowledge is the key to reach teaching goal of language
At any rate, the aim of teaching culture is to increase students’ awareness and to develop their curiosity towards the target culture and their own, helping them to comparison among cultures. These comparisons, of course, are not meant to underestimate foreign culture but to enrich students’ experience and sensitise them to cultural diversity. By this way, it is very easy to get the aim of language teaching. In fact, it is a main goal of language to develop communication ability. Language ability is a foundation of the communication ability. But language ability is not tantamount to communication ability. More and more persons have already reach common. Namely communication ability should include five respects : Four skills ( listening, speaking, reading and writing ) add social ability ( Namely the ability which people from different cultures carry on suitable communication ). We must understand that language ability is each other in social life, understand that culture knowledge is an important respect which makes up communication ability, is the important content of courses which reaches the teaching goal of language.
4 Culture learning can reduce the difficulties of language learning and get the following goals:
(1) To get the students familiar with cultural difference.
      (2) To help the students transcend their own culture and see things as the member of the target culture will.
      （ 3 ） To help the students to develop an understanding of the fact all people exhibit culturally-conditioned behavious.
(4)   To help students to develop the necessary skills to locate and organize information about the target culture.
